Alexzander Warner is a Creative writing major. After growing up in the local area of Glens Falls he chose to remain in the local area. He decided to pursue higher education and began attending SUNY Adirondack community college, with aspirations of attaining a Bachelor's Degree.

Mary LaBrecque is pursuing her first semester at SUNY Adirondack as a creative writing major. She feels better taking classes close to home, and has found a place at ACC. She hopes to one day have some publications of poetry or novels under her name, and she loves working with the Expressions team because she wants to work for a larger, professional publishing or mass-media marketing company in the future. She is super proud of all the work everyone has put into this year’s issue of the literary magazine, and can’t wait for you all to see the finished product!

Emily Gongola is a sophomore at SUNY Adirondack with a major in Humanities and Social Sciences. Writing is not her strong suit, but she likes to dabble in it here and there. Emily hopes to shape the minds of many young children in her future career as a teacher and caregiver.

Clayton Bennett is a Sophomore at SUNY ADK and hoping to graduate in Spring 2025 if all things go well. He's been writing for seven years now alongside winning a few writing contests. Writing has always been something that's kept him afloat in his life, and he really wants to turn that passion into a lifelong career. His dream is to someday become a screenwriter, working on visual media.

“Grandma's Sewing Room” by Sarah Turcotte
Brooke Wright is a sophomore at SUNY Adirondack and will be graduating this May. She is currently a Humanities and Social Science Major but is hoping to transfer and become a Social Work Major. Writing hasn't always been her strongest area, but she is great at organizing. Keeping everything organized is very important for the Literary Magazine so everyone is able to do their jobs sufficiently.

Rome Pichler is a first-year student at Suny Adirondack. He's a business administration major and has a few internships already set up, which he plans to pursue after graduation. In his free time, he likes to do things such as snowboarding, kickboxing, powerlifting, and golf. He's hoping to see how well the literary magazine will turn out after everything is finished.

Maddy Wasserman is a Sophomore at Suny Adirondack. She is a psychology major who hopes to one day be a Psychology Consultant. Maddy also plays for the SUNY Adirondack softball team. She is super excited for everyone to see the hard work that everyone has done to complete the 2025 Literary Magazine.

Sarah Turcotte is currently in her first year at SUNY Adirondack, seeking to eventually transfer to Siena to major in communications. In her free time she enjoys wandering the Adirondacks with her camera, being hunched over her desk typing away on some new writing endeavor, and commentating on hockey games with creative phrases. Contrary to her own past belief, she hopes to get into sports communications after graduation, along with publishing some work– if she ever finishes it, that is.

Gabriel Stanton is a first year student at SUNY ACC studying childhood education with a concentration in ELA. He enjoys writing about his life and interests when free and is studying journal writing alongside the literary magazine. Since he commutes four days a week to attend classes, each day gives him something different to write about. He hopes to one day share his thoughts and interests with the world.

Natalie Brooks is a sophomore at SUNY Adirondack. She is a liberal arts major hoping to get a degree in teaching. Specifically teaching elementary students. In being a teacher Natalie hopes to teach children how to read and be a happy role model for them.

Nancy White has been teaching since 1982. She has published three collections of her poetry and is editor-in-chief at The Word Works, a poetry press based in Washington D.C. She lives in Cambridge NY where she also went to high school. “It’s an honor to advise Expressions, and this is a fantastic team to work with.” This will be her last year at SUNY Adirondack.
